It’s been nearly a quarter of a century since the original release of the Nike Air Max 95, which revolutionised the sneaker game. The distinctive rippled aesthetic design combined with the provocative silhouette was a bold move from the Swoosh brand. To design the shoe, Nike brought on board Sergio Lozanzo to lead the project, a designer with a background in industrial architecture, who would bring a whole new perspective to the Air Max roster.

The Nike Air Max 95 OG has been reissued in this String / Total Orange - Neutral Olive colourway, which was one of the first colourways of the shoe upon it's inaugural release. The upper has been constructed in a suede and leather combination, with mesh overlays, the Nike Air Max 95 OG features the iconic, innovative lacing system that works to create a comfortable, custom fit.

Nike Air Max units are in place on the midsole, creating unique comfort, making the 95 OG shoes suitable for everyday use.

The aesthetic on this AM95 reissue stays faithful to its predecessor, with the original Nike Air Max 95 drawing inspiration from human anatomy, the upper represents the flow and flex of muscles, while the midsole resembles the spine and finally the laces work as the ribs.
